Amy Bloom

Amy Bloom is an experienced leader in strategy, operations, marketing, and fundraising. She is a superb manager of people and projects, creating transformative change for teams, departments, and organizations in information technology, higher education, health care, and not-for-profit sectors. Over the past 25 years, Amy has skillfully solved organizational challenges bringing about culture change while also fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Amy possesses strong interpersonal and writing skills that inspire employee engagement. She is passionate about evolving the landscape of health care through innovation, equity and streamlined processes, assuring that “the right people are in the right job at the right time.”

Amy has grown health care networks at Federally Qualified Health Centers, Planned Parenthood affiliates, and within NY state’s Delivery Service Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program, while building the operational and marketing infrastructure to sustain that growth. At Hudson Headwaters, Amy was part of the growth team that built over 20 health centers in NY. In 2020, she and colleagues founded Huddle Health, an innovative whole-person primary health company that offered care services via in person, mobile and virtual modalities, insured solely through value-based payment. She grew that company and led it towards its acquisition by a national health care company, Circulo.

In addition, as a long-time and dedicated teacher, Amy has served on the faculty at Clarkson Graduate College, teaching medical students and MBA students about management, marketing, and health care research, and bioethics for almost 20 years. Amy received her B.A. in Philosophy from Haverford College and her Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.) from West Virginia University where she focused on social epidemiology and bioethics.

When Amy is not working, you can find her playing with her slightly quirky rescue dog, Max. Amy enjoys kayaking, cooking, reading, and spending time with her extended family and friends.
